Broadway on the Beltway

Bloomingdale’s at Tysons Corner is putting on a beauty production you won’t want to miss. Join in on the action November 13 from 6p.m. to 9p.m. and experience this season’s latest products and beauty trends. Over 20 beauty brands are playing their part in the event with various Broadway themes. For example, MAC will take on “CATS” and show guests how to create the perfect cat-eye look. Fall Beauty Trend Event

Makeup lovers should head to Nordstrom at the Tysons Corner Center in McLean on November 15 for the store’s fall Beauty Trend Event. While tickets are $20, customers can use that amount towards a beauty purchase made during the event (over $20), which begins at 8 a.m. and runs until 7 p.m. Attendees will find out about the latest trends  in beauty during a runway show, along with one on one consultations full of tips and do-it-yourself ideas. To reserve your spot, call or stop by the beauty department. Each guest will receive an exclusive tote from Nordstrom for attending.

Smashbox at Nordstrom

Join the bloggers behind The Fashionably Broke, Natalie and Erika, for a fun beauty event at Nordstrom Pentagon City. If you’re still unsure of what holiday beauty look will work for you then head over to the Smashbox Cosmetics counter in Nordstrom for some tips and tricks on November 19 at 7p.m. Guests will enjoy treats and a gift from Smashbox while learning how to master the cat-eye and bold lip. Aleah Rae Dorsey, Smashbox resident artist, will be able to answer questions and provide feedback on how to always nail those beauty looks. Space is limited so RSVP here . There is a $10 reservation fee which will be refunded upon arrival at the event.

MM.LaFleur Pop-Up

The fashion brand MM.LaFleur is bringing a pop-up shop to D.C. from November 15-23. If you want to get an early start on holiday shopping, join the label on November 19 from 6-8p.m. at the District Architecture Center. District Sample Sale is hosting the shopping event, where 10 percent of the proceeds will go to the 2015 District Sample Sale charity, the DC Diaper Bank. Guests can RSVP and learn more here.

Anniversary Celebration at Salon Nordine

Salon Nordine & Day Spa is celebrating its first anniversary at the Mosaic location in Fairfax. On November 20 from 1-4p.m., guests will receive complimentary blow-outs, polish changes, express massages and other services. Appointments are first come, first serve.
