The laid-back, working mom from NBC4 and ‘Today’ tells us where her favorite NoVA spots are, plus items she’s obsessed with.
You know her from NBC4, or maybe on Today Show’s Parenting Team, or maybe her emceeing a local event. Point is, Angie Goff is everywhere. She is a laid-back, working mom who tells it like it is on her site and social media channels, and someone who thrives by indulging in her community.
Favorite NoVA shopping spot
I grew up in the ‘80s and ‘90s so I’m still a mallrat. I’ve always been a fan of Tysons. Between the movies, Disney store and outside playground, there’s plenty for my kids to do too. For deal shopping: the sale rack at J.Crew and Lou Lou for accessories, both in Reston.
Favorite accessory you can’t stop wearing
A fake gold BFF necklace. My daughter has the other half.
Best Instagram spot in NoVA
You can’t take a bad photo at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon. There’s so much to love and snap from the old wooden fences and adorable farm animals to the tractors plowing and antique carousel.
Makeup You Can’t Live Without
Laura Mercier Flawless Skin rose oil and Champagne Pop highlighter by BECCA
Go-to item of clothing
My Spanx faux leather leggings. I can dress them down with an oversized tee or hoodie and dress them up with a boyfriend blazer.
I like classic, clean styles mixed with something that’s just a little off. If I ever look too put together don’t be fooled, chances are I’m feeling really weird or odd inside.
Book that has inspired you
The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines. I love their story and sharing of personal experiences, which have you looking at your own life (and grievances) with fresh eyes.
