The dermatologist launched her business a decade ago and today is one of Northern Virginia’s premiere skin care specialists. This month, she celebrates the grand opening of her new 5,000-square-foot space in McLean, which features her state-of-the-art medical spa, a serene relaxation room, a VIP entrance and exit for her high-profile clients who need to go incognito and The Smile Studio, a pop-up cosmetic dental practice. Here, she shares her fave fashion finds and go-to NoVA hot spots.
Style File
“My style philosophy is sassy, but classy. I like off-the-shoulder tops, asymmetric and colorful clothing.”
Pencils Down
“I have over 50
pencil skirts. I pair them with blouses, T-shirts, a leather jacket or a sweater. I never feel like pants look great on me, so I am always the overdressed one at a party.”
Diet Do
“My favorite restaurant of all time is True Food Kitchen in Mosaic District. I am a believer in the anti-inflammatory diet. I preach to my patients that inflammation of the gut leads to inflammation and deterioration of the skin.”
Dog Days
“Great Falls Park is a gorgeous outdoor haven that is shaded—great for me because I try to hide from the sun!—with waterfalls and hiking trails. We take our boxer Zoe or go for a hike with the kids in the spring to relax.”
All About Eve
“I always treat my under eyes. I have a little trick where I apply an Eve Lom oil just on my under eye area before getting in the shower …to protect from the steamy water.”
