As a principal at the luxe, local jeweler Liljenquist & Beckstead at Fairfax Square in Tysons, Sherrie Beckstead knows a thing or two about beautiful baubles.
Recently, the Old Town Alexandria resident launched her first line of jewelry that combines her expertise with a cause she cares about. The Lockkeepers Collection features lock- and key-themed pieces ($75-$2,495) with 50% of the sale proceeds going to the nonprofit the Trust for the National Mall, where Beckstead serves on the National Advisory Council.
