Disney is coming to a Target near you this October. (Well, at least for Northern Virginians, and a few other lucky cities.)
At the recent D23 Expo, Disney announced the addition of Disney Stores to select Target locations throughout the country, including the Target in Leesburg. All stores are expected to open on Oct. 4, and an additional 40 locations are scheduled to open by October 2020.
The store-within-a-store will feature over 450 Disney-trademarked items, including more than 100 products that were only available at Disney retail locations. By the opening date, merchandise will include products featuring Frozen 2 and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker products, as well as collectibles like Disney Animators’ Collection.
The Disney stores in Targets will be located near the children’s clothing and existing toy aisles. Most items will range in price from $2 to $200.
Target also has plans to open a store near Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando in 2021. To find the other Targets launching Disney Stores, check out the store locator here. For more information, visit target.com/disneystore. // 1200 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg
