It’s February, which is also known as the month of love (thanks, Valentine’s Day). While some choose to shower their significant other with candy, chocolate and flowers, others may decide to splurge on themselves with new clothes, a facial or a DIY cosmetic-making class.

Recently opened Praha Beads is opening its doors for two workshops this month that will teach you everything there is to know about the basics of jewelry making. Staff members of the Alexandria-based shop will provide all of the materials and serve as guides as you use copper, artistic wire and gemstones.
