Northern Virginia is ready to watch the Washington Nationals take on the Houston Astros for the 2019 World Series.
Game 1 will be held tonight (Oct. 22) at 8:08 p.m., and local breweries, sports bars and more are offering drinks and snacks for diehard fans and bandwagon jumpers (it’s OK, no need to feel guilty).
Quick tips:
- WMATA has extended Metro hours for all game nights (especially when the Nats play at home for games 3, 4 and 5)
- Tickets might still be available if you’re a NATS Plus member and on resale sites, but costs are steep
- The team is encouraging all fans to wear red in support of #StayInTheFight
So, grab your red T-shirt and head to these Game 1 watch parties, below, and root, root, root for the home team!
