As we enter into a new year, it’s time to pause, reflect and ask ourselves what we want to accomplish in 2020. Whether it’s something as big as opening a business or as small as running a whole mile without stopping to walk, you can’t achieve your goal without first understanding yourself.

New Year’s Even Conscious Delicious Celebration and Soulful Start to 2020
Tuesday, Dec. 31, 7 p.m.-1 a.m.
Kick off the new year with a special celebration of life, featuring astrology demonstrations, sound healing booths, live music, meditation practices and so much more. Hosted by the National Integrative Wellness and Resource Center, this New Year’s Eve affair will focus on aligning your goals for the year ahead in a joyous, community atmosphere. Mindfulness for Stress for 2020
Sunday, Jan. 5, 2-4 p.m.
Over the course of the past five years, the practice of mindfulness has become a highly discussed, commonly utilized regimen in the health and wellness world. 6 Weeks to Wellness
Jan. 9-Feb. 13 & Jan. 15-Feb. 19
This winter, grocery store chain Giant is partnering with local nutritionists to offer a free, six-week course on maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. At each lesson, you’ll learn tips and tricks for creating a dietary routine, as well as several easy-to-make recipes your whole family will enjoy. DMV Wellness Seminar – Live Longer Better Stronger
Thursday, Jan. 9, 7-8:30 p.m.
