2019 was a great year for the Washington Nationals. Now, it’s time for fans to kick off 2020 with some of that lingering World Series fever.
This year’s Washington Nationals Winterfest will be held this weekend on Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12, and will offer a range of activities for all ages to enjoy, so layer on your red gear and head out.
Indoor and outdoor events for fans will include photo stations and Q&A sessions with Nationals players and coaches, as well as photos with mascots and rides on the WGL Energy Bullpen cart.
More family-friendly activities have yet to be announced, but kids can be sure to stop by the curling station, snow angel photo station and more as the day goes on.
Vouchers for autographs, photos with the World Series trophy and for the National Youth Baseball Academy Clinic can be purchased prior to the event, and ensure a chance to get your all-around experience with the World Series champs at Nationals Park.
Want another chance to meet a Nationals player? Bring a new or gently used baseball or softball item to donate to local Washington, DC Metropolitan area sports teams and you’ll be entered to win a meet and greet for later in the day.
