As golf courses across the state begin to reopen, local golfers are itching to get back onto the green. Recently, Virginia Business released its annual list of the top 50 golf courses in Virginia, and Northern Virginia ranked in with nine local courses being named to the list.

- No. 7: Robert Trent Jones Golf Club // 1 Turtle Point Drive, Gainesville
- No. 11: Trump National Golf Club (Championship) // 20391 Lowes Island Blvd., Sterling
- No. 15: The Club at Creighton Farms // 22050 Creighton Farms Drive, Aldie
- No. 22: Army Navy Country Club (Arlington) // 1700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington
- No. 25: River Bend Golf & Country Club // 375 Walker Road, Great Falls
- No. 28: Trump National Golf Club (Riverview) // 20391 Lowes Island Blvd., Sterling
- No. 33: Army Navy Country Club (Fairfax) // 3315 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax
- No. 48: Belle Haven Country Club // 6023 Fort Hunt Road, Alexandria
- No. 50: Winchester Country Club // 1300 Senseny Road, Winchester
And, for golfers looking to hit the No. 1 course, this year’s rankings listed Hot Springs’ The Omni Homestead Cascades course as the best in Virginia. Manakin-Sabot’s Kinioch Golf Club came in second and Charlottesville’s Farmington Country Club’s North-South course rounded out the top three.
