Pack your banjo and hit the road toward Baltimore: the seventh annual Charm City Bluegrass Festival returns to the stage April 26 to 27.
The award-winning, two-day festival honors the musical traditions of the bluegrass, folk and Americana genres. This year’s event will see 20 bands play across three stages.
Headliners include The Bridge, Deer Tick, Steep Canyon Rangers and Jeff Austin Band. Attendees will also have the chance to see Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen, Charm City Junction, Blue Octane, Town Mountain, Maybe April, Ultrafaux and many more bands perform.
Charm City Bluegrass Festival is family-friendly, and will include an activity area for kids and a petting zoo. Children under the age of 10 will be admitted into the festival at no cost.
Other highlights will be local food options (vendors include Bark BBQ, Deddle’s Mini Donuts, Vent Coffee Roasters and Asian Taste), a limited-release beer from Union Brewery, artists, spontaneous jam sessions and more. There will also be a late-night after party both nights at the 8×10, featuring more bluegrass music and entertainment.
The festival will be held from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
