Traveling at Dulles International Airport (IAD) just got a lot more fun for kids and adults alike.
In a new nationwide effort to bring the excitement (and portability) of video games to users everywhere, Nintendo has opened four Nintendo Switch lounges at airports across the country.
On Feb. 17, a Nintendo Switch On The Go pop-up opened its doors at Dulles International Airport, as well as Seattle-Tacoma Airport, O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and Dallas Love Field Airport.
All lounges will remain open until Sunday, March 29 and through their duration, travelers can play demos of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, Tetris 99 and more, on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite consoles. Some will be hooked up to play on televisions while others can be used handheld.
Once travelers experience the space, they will receive a free Nintendo Switch-branded luggage handle wrap and a $10 coupon from Target to use on a Nintendo purchase of $75 or more (while supplies last), and if they would like to order a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite device, Nintendo Switch games or merchandise, they will receive a free carrying case with their order.
Travelers visiting Dulles International Airport can find the lounge at Concourse B near the west entrance/exit, next to Gate B62.
